Cambridge, New Zealand
Cambridge, in the Waikato, is a tree-lined town set on the banks of the Waikato River, with a compact centre and a noticeably “small-town” pace. Late September into early October typically falls between spring cool and mild warmth, with average highs around 17–18°C (63–65°F) and lows near 7–9°C (45–48°F). The river corridor shapes much of the local scenery, with riverside walking routes and connections into the wider trail network. Lake Te Koo Utu adds an easy, quiet loop walk close to town. For a larger nature outing, Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari sits nearby—an ancient forest protected by a 47 km pest-proof fence. There are cafés, small restaurants, antiques, and boutiques cluster downtown, which give you all the amenities that you could need.
With its peaceful environment, breathtaking landscapes, and proximity to nature, Cambridge provides a perfect location for the Feast.
