Hervey Bay, Australia
Hervey Bay, Queensland sits on the Fraser Coast with calm, protected waters and a steady, unhurried pace. Late September into early October is typically warm but not oppressive, with average daytime highs around 25–27°C (77–81°F) and nights near 14–17°C (57–63°F). The Urangan waterfront centers on the historic pier and marina, and the harbour is also a common starting point for whale-watching cruises and trips over to K’gari (formerly Fraser Island). Humpback season in the area generally runs from July to October. For natural scenery, K’gari’s long beaches, coloured-sand cliffs, and freshwater dune lakes provide a striking contrast to the mainland’s quieter shoreline. Dining and shopping lean casual—cafés and seafood spots near the water, with larger stores in town when needed.

With its coastal calm and ready access to nature, Hervey Bay offers a beautiful setting to gather for the Feast of Tabernacles.
