Hilton Head Island, SC
Hilton Head Island is a low-profile coastal community where beaches, tidal marshes, and neighborhoods sit close together without a dense city center. Early October typically brings comfortable warmth—highs often drop from around 80 toward the low 70s, with lows moving from the upper 60s toward the upper 50s. The natural setting leans toward water and shoreline: broad beaches, coastal grasses, and quiet inlets. Daily needs are easy to handle, and Coligny Plaza is one of the island’s main clusters for restaurants and shopping. The overall tone is orderly and calm, which can help keep the focus on fellowship rather than constant activity.
Hilton Head’s coastal environment and slower pace make it a good place to assemble and observe the Feast of Tabernacles together.
