Nairobi, Kenya
Nairobi sits on Kenya’s high plateau, giving it a noticeably milder feel than many equatorial cities. Early October is typically comfortable: average highs around 77°F (25°C) with lows near 57–60°F (14–16°C). The city’s most distinctive feature is how quickly nature can re-enter the picture—Nairobi National Park is only about 10 km from the central business district, creating an unusual contrast of wildlife and skyline. For additional outings, the Giraffe Centre is a well-known stop focused on conservation and education. Shopping and dining range from local markets to modern retail centers, so day-to-day needs are easy to cover without turning the week into sightseeing.
Whether enjoying the local cuisine, nature reserves, or fellowship, attendees will find Nairobi to be a pleasant location for the Feast.
