Pigeon Forge, TN
Pigeon Forge sits at the edge of the Smokies, where ridgelines and forested slopes are never far from town. Late September into early October cools noticeably—highs commonly run from the 70s down toward the 60s, and lows often fall from the 50s toward the 40s. The strongest draw is the nearby Great Smoky Mountains, including the Cades Cove area for scenic drives and open valley views. In town, there are many attractions and restaurants, from family entertainment to well-known destinations like Dollywood and The Island.
The area can be busy, but the mountains provide natural space to reset and reflect. With a blend of outdoor access and practical amenities, Pigeon Forge offers a pleasant environment for keeping the Feast of Tabernacles.
