Warrnambool, Australia
Located on Victoria’s southwest coast at the end of the Great Ocean Road, Warrnambool combines open shoreline, small-city convenience, and a steady pace. Late September into early October is typically cool and comfortable, with average highs around 16–18°C (61–64°F) and lows near 7–8°C (44–46°F). The coastline is the main backdrop—nearby parks feature clifftop walks, sheltered coves, and limestone stacks shaped by the Southern Ocean. Local history is easy to explore at Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village, and the area is also known for viewing southern right whales at Logans Beach during the June–September season (late September can still overlap). Warrnambool’s cafes and seafood spots are delightful and easy to navigate.
With its coastal setting Warrnambool offers a peaceful place to gather and observe the Feast of Tabernacles.
