Gulf Shores, AL
Gulf Shores is shaped by white-sand coastline, dune landscapes, and nearby protected areas that keep portions of the region from feeling overbuilt. Temperatures around the Feast season usually stay warm but ease gradually—late September highs often sit in the low-to-mid 80s, trending cooler into October. Nature options are a real strength here, including Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge and the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail system in Gulf State Park. For dining and shopping, nearby Orange Beach adds additional options, including The Wharf as a concentrated restaurant-and-retail area. Gulf Shores can feel lively in places, but the outdoor space and shoreline create room to slow down.
With coastal scenery and accessible recreation, Gulf Shores provides a pleasant backdrop for the Feast of Tabernacles.
